EUCC ISAC is looking for a Junior Cybersecurity Certification Engineer to support its Executive Secretariat and contribute to the coordination of technical work across the European cybersecurity certification ecosystem.
This full-time professional immersion opportunity is based in Brussels and offers hands-on exposure to cybersecurity certification, security evaluation methodologies and collaboration with a unique European network of experts.
About the role
The selected candidate will support EUCC ISAC technical working groups, contribute to technical documentation and analysis, coordinate with stakeholders, maintain collaboration tools and repositories, and assist with technical workshops and expert meetings.
Candidate profile
- Master’s degree, or final year, in cybersecurity, computer science, software engineering, electronics, embedded systems or information security.
- Between 0 and 2 years of relevant experience. Cybersecurity internships are a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of areas such as cybersecurity engineering, secure software development, embedded systems security, vulnerability analysis, cryptography fundamentals or security certification frameworks.
- Familiarity with Common Criteria, ISO 15408 or ISO 27001 is an advantage.
- Professional working proficiency in English. French or German is a plus.
Contract information
- Contract: Convention d’Immersion Professionnelle (CIP), Belgium
- Start date: October 2026, flexible within the month
- Duration: 6 to 12 months
- Location: Brussels, with remote working possible in the Brussels area
